November is a month for Gratitude.
I read this in the book "Braiding Sweetgrass," by Robin Wall Kimmerer, and she says it is part of an oral address called the Thanksgiving Address:
Today we have gathered and when we look upon the faces around us we see that the cycles of life continue. We have been given the duty to live in balance and harmony with each other and all living things. So now let us bring our minds together as one as we give greetings and thanks to each other as People. Now our minds are one. - - -
November is a month of reaching our limit, and discovering what must be done to reign things back in. There will be lots of focus on re-negotiating the laws that define what is fair. This month is an excellent time to craft a personal plan, paying strong attention to honoring your own limits – resources, time, personal energy. If you can do this with gratitude in your heart, you are on your way to pleasing Saturn, (a.k.a. "He who is hard to please.") There's a particular focus this month on how we show up around conflict. We'll get to solve problems of communication in relationship, and solve problems about the act of diplomacy itself. Maybe, if we're really paying attention, we might contemplate, "What's the difference between being nice and being kind?" The month is a bit fireworks like, with one Uranian surprise after another, the first being Uranus involved with the full moon on Oct. 31/ Halloween; the second being Uranus opposite Mercury Nov. 16 & 17; and the third being Uranus opposite Venus Nov. 27. All three of these explosive transits attempt to rebel, overthrow, or otherwise explode the strict, authoritarian, possibly religious fundamentalist mandates being handed down. The key is to use this Uranian energy to think way outside the box around solving problems without haste or immaturity. I walk you through some loose guidelines around the U.S. presidential election, the pandemic and how it's going to affect our global economy, and the spotlight on the Supreme Court this month, all in this month's video. Stay safe and grounded and be kind to yourself and others this month!
